LAY Family Cemetery Markers

From Oklahoma Genealogical Society Quarterly Vol. 12, No. 4, December 1967

Transcribed to Electronic form by Jo White

This search for LAY burials by Mr. And Mrs. Harry C. Stallings was in response to a request for records of Robert LAY, a school teacher, in or near Britton about 1948-1951 and records of John W. LAY and Lucene (Lucy) LAY, buried at or near Estella and Centralia, Oklahoma, or between Nowata and Vinita, Oklahoma.  Several of the descendants of John W. and Lucene (Lucy) LAY are buried in that area.  J. Gilbert LAY of Cook Station, Missouri requested this information.

The LAY data were extracted from the Stallings’ reply by Dorothy Wilkinson (Mrs. Jim).
