Gerald L. Page

Gerald L. Page was born 14 July 1915 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  He was the son of Lewis Porter and Eva (Wolfkill) Page.  He died 14 September 1936 in Oklahoma City and is buried in Sunnylane Cemetery.

 

Lewis Porter Page, father of Gerald L. Page, was born 25 February 1889, Woodbury County, Iowa.  He was the son of George Washington and Ruby Lucy (Bacon) Page.  He married in Oklahoma City about 1914 Eva Wolfkill, who, after his death, remarried and moved to (Hannibal?), Missouri.  He died 9 October 1918 during the flu epidemic in Oklahoma City and is buried in Fairlawn Cemetery, Oklahoma City.

George Washington Page, father of Lewis Porter Page, was born about 1860 in Iowa County, Iowa.  He was the son of Daniel and Breda Page.  He married in Iowa about 1888, Ruby Lucy Bacon (daughter of Benjamin Dwight and Bethenia Clifton Bacon.)  He married 2nd in Oklahoma, 1896, Lucy Belle Churchwell.  He was a policeman.

                             2nd wife,                Clarence E. Page

 

 

Daniel Page, father of George Washington Page, was born 1835 in New Hampshire.  He was a farmer.  He married Breda _____, who was born in Illinois.

          Children:

1.     John Page, born 1859 – Iowa Co., Iowa

2.     George Washington Page, born 1860

3.     Daniel Page, born 1862 – Iowa Co., Iowa

4.     Benjamin Page, born 1866 – Iowa Co., Iowa

5.     Nancy Page, b. 1868 – Iowa Co., Iowa

6.     Martha Page, born 1870 – Iowa Co., Iowa

7.     Roxanna Page, born 1872 – Sioux Co., Iowa

8.     William Page, born 1874 – Harrison Co., Iowa

9.     Elmer Page, born 1876 – Missouri

10. Albert Page, born 1878 – Polk Co., Iowa

11. Fanny Page, born 1880 – Kansas

12. Alfred Page, born 1881 – Sioux Co., Iowa

13. Edwin Page, born 1884 – Woodbury Co., Iowa

 

 

Ruby Lucy Bacon, wife of George Washington Page and daughter of Benjamin Dwight Bacon and wife, Bethenia Clifton, was born 1869, Woodbury County, Iowa (Sergeant Bluff).  She died in Oklahoma (probably).  She was a half sister of Albert Lincoln Bacon, who married Commella Churchwell (sister of Lucy Belle Churchwell, 2nd wife of George Washington Page).
