Oklahoma Ancestors in Arkansas

1869 Tax Payers in Prairie Township, Washington County, Arkansas, from the old record books of the County Clerk, G.W.M. Reed, was originally published in Flashback Magazine, May, 1957, by the Washington Co., Ark. Historical Society, Contributor James Manford Carseloway, who points out the genealogical value – "Many Oklahomans have ancestors who were early settlers in Arkansas. Many folks in those days came from Tenn.-Ala.-S.C.-N.C.-Miss.-N.O. [sic] (and adjacent states)." OGS has a handwritten copy listing James M. Anderson through F.J. Gibson . . .4 pages.
