 The memorial service for Robert "Bobby" LaRue Webb, 56 year-old Enid resident, will be Friday, March 25, 2011 at 10:00AM in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Vernon Lee will officiate. Inturnment will follow in Douglas Cemetery.Bobby was born in Enid on November 5, 1954 to Robert and Thelma (North) Webb and died Monday, March 21, 2011 at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center. He was reared in Enid, went to Enid schools and graduated from Enid High School in 1973. He served seven years in the artillery corp. of the Oklahoma National Guard. He worked for the Enid Parks Department as an equipment operator for 28 years and retired from that position because of a disability and poor health. He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Whiteman of Shawnee, OK; mother, Thelma Webb of Enid; sister, Bonnie Webb of Morrison, OK; one granddaughter, Gracie Thompson and one grandson, Blaine Thompson, both of Shawnee, OK. He is also survived by two step-brothers, namely Terry and Randy Webb and a step-sister, Gayle Webb all of OK; his good friend, Charlie Barker of Bakersville, California; numerous aunts, uncle,one nephew, and cousins along with a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father. Memorials may be made to the Douglas Cemetery through the funeral home. |
