 Peggy J. Edwards was born October 8, 1931 to Floyd and Palma (Bowers) Montgomery and died May 29, 2011 in Enid. She married Roy (Duna) Edwards on May 4, 1947. Out of this marriage she had five children, four sons, Alton (Linda), Donald, Tom (Donna), Gary (Joni) and one daughter, Gail. And from these five children came 14 grandchildren with 27 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild all loved dearly by their Granny. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents and one sister.If you knew Peggy, you knew that her life was sewing! She worked at many places around Enid as a seamstress and for years she had her special little customers that she would sew for. Peggy has a way with a sewing machine. Graveside services will be 10:00am Thursday, June 2, 2011 in Waukomis Cemetery with Reverend Vernon Lee officiating. Services are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Memorials can be given through the funeral home to Ross Hospice. |
