 Funeral services for Lorene B. Fuksa will be held 2:00pm on Friday, April 29, 2011 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Reverend Kevin Ratterman officiating. Burial will follow in Bison Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.Lorene was born on October 1, 1932 in Banner, OK to Jim and Agnes (Hucek) Rubes and passed away suddenly on April 26, 2011 in Enid. On August 1, 1957, she married Alfred Fuksa. Together they lived and farmed in the Bison area. She worked as a nurse's aide for over 25 years at St. Mary's Hospital. Lorene loved music and gardening. She also enjoyed crocheting and baking kolaches. Her animals were very important to her and so the Enid SPCA has been designated for memorial contributions through the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Alfred. Lorene is survived by her three children, Colleen Stemen and husband, Allen; Dwayne Fuksa and wife, Nancy; and Bernita Fuksa, all of Enid; five grandchildren, "her little people", Candice, Nikki, Jesse, Austin and Jonathon as well as five great-grandchildren, Lauren, Alex, Tanner, Juniper and Hudson. |
