Leo B. Hatfield


(December 9, 1919 - May 29, 2011)
Funeral services for Leo B. Hatfield, 91 year-old Enid resident, will be 10:00am Friday, June 3, 2011 at First Baptist Church, Enid with Reverend Richard Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in Del Norte Cemetery, Drummond under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
Leo was born north of Carrier on December 9, 1919 to Earl and May Myrtle (Rork) Hatfield and died May 29, 2011 in Enid. From 1942 until 1945, he proudly served in the US Army during World War II. Then, in March of 1947, he married Lois Hildabrand. He worked at Crescent Furniture as a salesman for over 50 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Robert Hatfield; Louis Hatfield and Carl Hatfield.
Leo is survived by his loving wife, Lois; children, David Hatfield and wife, Linda of Garber; Karon Cannon and husband, Michael of Taylor, SC and Leona Kelly of Memphis, TN; five grandchildren, David E. Hatfield; Clyde William Brickle, III; Allan Kelly; Tanya Smith and John Kelly; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ray Hatfield of Tulsa; Irvin Hatfield of Enid; and two sisters, Luella Botts and Darlene Holt, both of Enid.
Memorial donations may be made to Carter Hospice with Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home acting as custodians of the fund.
