Jack Willis RandlesJack Willis Randles, 75, of Enid, went to be with his Heavenly Father on January 16, 2012. At his request, he was cremated and no services are planned. Cremation arrangements are with Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
Jack was born June 28, 1936 in Coshocton, Ohio to Perry and Ethel (Wood) Randles. In 1956, he entered the US Air Force where he became a jet mechanic. On December 27, 1958, Jack married Zelta Cay Howerton. He and Cay recently celebrated 53 years of marriage. After his discharge in 1960, he continued his work with Vance Air Force Base as a jet mechanic until his retirement in 2001, after 45 years of service.
Jack enjoyed working in his yard and gardening. He liked to make Christmas decorations and furniture out of wood. He was considered by many to be a “Jack” of all trades. Above all, he cherished his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and great-grandson, Kabrin Duren.
Jack is survived by his wife, Cay; two sons, Kevin Randles and Kary Randles; daughter, Kelly Straw and husband, Steve, all of Enid; grandson, Brandon Randles and wife, Adrian of Waukomis; four granddaughters, Heather Lawson of VA; Brandie Randles, Cathy Randles and BJ Randles, all of Enid; great-grandson, Kadyn Lawson of VA; two great-granddaughters, Reese Randles and Braley Perrott, both of Enid as well as one sister, Mary Lou Roller and one brother, Robert “Speck” Randles, both of Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a memorial donation be given in Jack’s name through the funeral home to OMRF — Heart Division.
