| Jack O'Brien, 64, of Yukon, OK, passed away Jan. 30, 2012, at the VA Medical Center, in Oklahoma City, OK. John was born in Boston, MA, on May 9, 1947. Raised in Boston, Jack joined the United States Air Force in 1965. After a tour in Vietnam he was honorable discharged in 1968 with the rank of Sergeant. After his military duty he worked for Gulfstream until his retirement. He always remained loyal to his favorite Boston sports teams. Jack married Sharon (Miller) in Nov., 1970, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Enid, OK. Jack is survived by his wife, Sharon of the home in Yukon; son, Michael O'Brien of Fort Worth, TX; daughter, Diane Floyd and husband Jayson of Yukon; grandchildren, Hannah and Jameson Floyd of Yukon; brother, James O'Brien and wife Sandy of Weymouth, MA; sister, Marilyn McCarthy of Quincy, MA; mother-in-law, Betty Miller of Enid, OK; special friends, Johnny and Rita Flynn and Bob & Kathryn Aebi; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Memorial donations may be made to: St. John Catholic School Endowment Fund, P.O. Box 850249, Yukon, OK 73085. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., Thurs., Feb. 2, at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church, Yukon, OK. Interment will follow at the Yukon Cemetery.
