 Helen Clara (Hatch) Matthews died peacefully December 13, 2011 at home. She was born December 5, 1920 in Enid.She was preceded in death by her husband, Ashton; parents, Clare and Winifred (Fisher) Hatch; sisters, twin Ruth Ellen; Elzora Gates; Margaret Hatch; Norma Rose Lile and brother, Bill Hatch. Helen is survived by her children, Johnny Matthews; Virginia Matthews; Lloyd (Angie) Matthews and Joyce Matthews; six grandchildren, Wade Matthews; Heather (Ben) Gomez; Chris (Emily) Matthews; Lacey Matthews; Luke (Millie) Matthews and Gabe Matthews as well as three great-grandchildren, Avery, Keegen and Tavian Gomez. Funeral services will be 10:00am Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Central Christian Church. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Memorials can be given through the funeral home to Ross Hospice or Central Christian Caregivers. |
