Margarite Mary Averyt, 73, formerly of Tulsa, died Thursday in Canton, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday at Ninde Funeral Chapel.

Burial will follow at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Ninde Garden Chapel.

She was born in Sapulpa on Nov 30, 1919, to Ferman and Martha Crawford. She graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1938. A retired credit manager, she formerly worked for Shell Oil, Avis, Security Finance, and at one time owned her own business. She was a past president of Credit Women International.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy Edwards of Canton, Ohio; brother Wallace Crawford of Sapulpa; sisters Sally Stroud, Houston, Texas; Jane Miller and Midge Lane of Sapulpa.

The family will headquarter at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Crawford in Sapulpa.
