O. L. 'RED' AUSTIN

O. L. "Red" Austin, 61, died Saturday in Bristow.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 am Tuesday in the Hutchins-Maples Chapel with the Rev. Larry Morris officiating.

Burial is to follow in Magnolia Memorial Gardens under the direction of Hutchins-Maples Funeral Home.

Austin was born Feb 8, 1933, attended Kellyville Schools and graduated from San Leandro in California. He later went on to graduate from Tulsa Welding School. He was the former owner of Reds Creek Co. Austin was born and raised in Creek County before moving to California and later moving to Texas where he had lived during most of the last 20 years.

Survivors include daughters Sherry Whitelock of Redding, Calif., Teresa Rohr of Tulsa, Jannet San Pietro of Germantown, Tenn. And Tammy McGeath of Tracy, Calif.; mother Hazel Titus of Bristow; sisters Dorothy Meyers of Tulsa and Edna Dotson of Bristow; brother Benny Ralston of Bristow; three grandchildren and two brothers-in-law.
