Albert D. (Buck) Archer, 86, 310 W. Taft, died Saturday at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa.

Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, Kellyville, with the Rev. T. Howard Allen officiating.

Burial will follow at Kellyville Cemetery under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

Casketbearers will be Dal Archer, Brandon Cole, Kenny Pack, Bobby McClain, Boyce McClain and Kenneth Wayne McClain. Honorary bearers will be Bruce McClain, Glen Webster and Fred Pounds.

Mr. Archer was born July 4, 1905, at Shady Point, Indian Territory. He moved to Sapulpa in 1907 from Shady Point. He married Edna Shirley in December 1937 in Muskogee. For several years he owned and operated the south Main Café. He was a member of the Westside Baptist Church and a avid gardener.

Survivors include wife, Edna; son Albert Archer of Kellyville; daughters Marie Haney and Helen Pack both of Sapulpa, Patsy McAughly of Greeley, Colo., and Helen Houlse of Nashville, Tenn.; 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

The family will headquarter at 108 S. Oak in Kellyville.

Funeral services for Albert D. (Buck) Archer were held today at First Baptist Church, Kellyville, with the Rev. T. Howard Allen officiating.

Burial followed at Kellyville Cemetery under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

Survivors not previously listed are one sister, Lena Pounds of Sapulpa.

Edna Archer, 83, 310 W Taft, died Thursday at Bartlett memorial Medical Center.

Services are to be held Monday in the Kellyville First Baptist Church. Burial is to follow at the Kellyville Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Archer was born March 30, 1910 in Iowa. She owned and operated the South Main Cafe for many years, was a Sapulpa resident since 1920 and a member of the First Baptist Church.

She is survived by son Albert Archer of Kellyville; daughters Marie HANEY and Helen PACK both of Sapulpa, and Patsy MCAUGHEY of Greeley, CO; borther Ed SHIRLEY of Bentonville, AR; sisters Helen HENSON of Little Rock, AR; and Viola STURMONT of Bakersfield, CA; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Family will headquarter at the Albert ARCHER residence at 108 S Oak in Kellyville.
