Updated: 06 Sep 2009 ANTHIS, Gladys Marie TULSA — Former Sapulpan Gladys Marie Anthis,
81, of Tulsa died Saturday at Leisure Village Nursing Home, Tulsa.
Miss Anthis’ body will be cremated. A
memorial service is scheduled for 11 am Wednesday at All Souls Unitarian
Church, Tulsa, with the Rev. John wolf officiating.
Interment will be in the Mounds Cemetery
under the direction of Moore’s Memory Chapel, Tulsa.
She was born March 26, 1908, in Acorn
Ridge, MO. She graduated from Sapulpa High School and attended the University of
Tulsa.
Miss Anthis retired from the DX-Sun Oil Co.
in 1972 after 30 years of service in the advertising department.
She was a member of the All Souls Unitarian
Church, Toastmasters and the Desk and Derrick Club.
Survivors include her niece, Dorothy Nell
Henson of Oklahoma City.
In lieu of flowers, the family has
suggested donations be made to favorite charities. |
