Coal County OK Genealogical Society

Memberships in the Coal County Genealogical Society

The Society invites -- we could even stoop to begging and pleading for -- everyone to become members. We are a small county with big ideas. Really, we just want to provide a good solid service to those who have genealogical research requirements in our area. For that, we do need as many members as possible. Plus, if you live in Coal county or the immediate area, the meetings will offer you an ideal environment to discuss your triumphs and failures in your research.

The meeting are held in the Library building at the corner of Ohio and Byrd Streets in Coalgate. The 1999 meeting schedule is as follows:

January 11, 1999   July 12, 1999
February 8, 1999   August 9, 1999
March 8, 1999   September 13, 1999
April 12, 1999   October 11, 1999
May 10, 1999   November 8, 1999
June 14, 1999   December 13, 1999

Click on the Printer Friendly Application Form button below to display a convenient application form. Just use the print function on your computer to print out the form. Fill it out and send it to us. To make the form as free from 'browser garbage' as possible, there is no return button on that page. You will have to use the 'back' button on your browser to return to this page. If you do not have a printer on your computer just drop us a note stating that you want to become a member, along with payment to the address on the form. Be sure to include all the requested information. Please do not send cash through the mails. Thank you for becoming our newest member.
