I grew up to manhood there at Woodville and a family moved in the town from Temple Texas, by the name Lemmons, there were the Lemmon's, Thomas L., Thomas R. and William I. Lemmons, Thomas L. and his wife Nellie had 8 childre, three girls and 5 boys, the oldest being a girl named Norah Etta of which I married on March 1, 1914 and we had three children born to us, one girl and two boys, Rubye Ellen was the girl name and the boys names were James Eugene and Thomas Edison. These two boys have both my christen names as my name is James Thomas.

Our daughter after growing to womanhood was married twice both men went wrong and she side tracked them both. Harry Harp was her first husband name and John Dee Brent was her second husband as he went for another woman, she was a widow when she pass away. She was in an automobile wreck in April 1952 and complications set up months later and the doctors couldn't do anything with the complications, she pass away January 28, 1953 in Richlands Hills a suburb to Fort Worth, Texas. James Eugene after growing to manhood, married Wanda Brown of Pilot Grove, Texas and he and Wanda have two sons, Jeffrey Scott and Christopher Adrain Bell and Thomas Edison, after growing to manhood, married Alta Louise Parks and they have two children, a boy Thomas Edison, Jr. and a girl Victoria Louise Bell.

Norah and I were married on March 1, 1914 of which was her father birthday, he received me as a birthday gift and on March 2, 1943 we lost him on my birthday, which was 29 years later, he died on my birthday which was March 2, 1894. He died March 2, 1943.

There was a boy there at Woodville by the name of Tom Ussery and he would run or whip over school teacher that came to Woodville to teach school, there was a lttle red headed man that come there to teach school by the name John B. Steed, this man Steed was all fire and wouldn't take anything off of anybody, On Easter sun, this Tom Ussery and another boy by the name Robert Earl Owens went to the school house on Sunday of Easter and climbed up to the bell tower and untied the bell rope from the bell, when it came time to ring the bell for school the next morning the bell boy went up and took hold of the rope and pulled the rope down through the ceiling onto the floor below, Steed started an investigation soon after books took up, this Ussery boy got up stood firm and told Steed that he untied the rope from the bell and just what was he going to do about it. Steed told him that he was going to give him a whipping for it, the fight started Steed, knocked Ussery down and ask him if he had enough, Ussery told him no and came charging right back to him and just kept coming back for more, they fought all over the school room out and down the hall to where there was a close locker and Steed managed to get a chair round that was laying on the floor of this locker and locked him up in the locker and called the sheriff out there, they held another investigation and expelled Ussery from school for the reminder of that school year.

Tom Ussery had a brother going to the same school but, he was up stairs in another room, when Tom and Steed got to the close locker. Tom hollowed for his brother to come down and help him out, so his brother went down to where Tom was but, his brother teacher followed him down the steps, caught him buy the shirt collar and the seat of his pants and brought him right back to his room and locked the door to the room so he couldn't get out of the room, Tom Ussery, has in the past got hold of the school teachers hair of the head and lead them all over the school room, and hit them with anything that he could get his hands on but, he couldn't handle this man, John Bunyon Steed.
