January 13, 1925

Spotwood MOLLOY, was born at Knobnoster, Johnson County, Missouri, July 15th, 1875, and died at his home near Harmon, Oklahoma, January 13th, 1925 at the age of 49 years, 5 months and 28 days.
Mr. Molloy grew to manhood in Missouri, where he was married to Nora HAMPTON, at Warrensburg, that state, on April 21st, 1898. To this union were born nine children, six daughters and three sons, namely: Mrs. Lettie KNOWLES of Portales, New Mexico; Mrs. Lila DEAN of Lincoln, New Mexico; and Mrs. Carrie SHERRILL of Shattuck, Oklahoma, and six younger children; Tom, Audry, John, Flossie, Nelda and Herman who make their home with their parents.  
Mr. and Mrs. Molloy moved to Lincoln County, Oklahoma, November 12th, 1898 and on February 6th, 1901 he located on his present homestead in Ellis County, formerly in old Day county, Oklahoma Territory.
Other than his beloved wife and children, mentioned above, the deceased leaves to mourn his death, an aged mother, two sisters, and two brothers, and a host of friends.
Mr. Molloy or Wood as he was known by everyone, was a kind and generous father and husband, a good neighbor and a loyal friend, honored and repected by all.
He was a member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge at Harmon and one of the most highly respected pioneer citizens of the county, at his passing the people of Ellis county, again bow their heads in sorrow and regret.
Funeral services were held at the home near Harmon, January 15th, 1925. And the body was laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery, Harmon, Oklahoma.

Last Rites
Funeral services were held in the Harmon Nazarene Church Wednesday afternoon for Nora PEACOCK. Burial was in the Harmon Cemetery. We have been unable to get other information regarding her death at this time. Mrs. PEACOCK was the mother of Tom and John MOLLOY and the step-mother of Mrs. Arthur THOMPSON.
