Mrs. Foreman Dead
Mrs. Margarette V. LEMAR FOREMAN, wife of Chas. M. FOREMAN, died at her home east of Glencoe, May 3, 1909, aged 44 years, 4 months and 13 days.
This good lady suffered from cancer of the stomach and every possible thing was done to stop the malady but it was of no avail.
Mrs. Chas. FOREMAN was born in Doniphan County Kas., in 1864. She was joined in wedlock to Chas M. FOREMAN, in Riley County, Kansas, in 1883. To this union, three children were born. Mrs. FOREMAN was converted in1885 and lived a Christian life. She was a good woman. Her cheerful, beautiful, helpful life; her devotion as wife and daughter; her kindness to everybody, will long linger as a fragrant memory in the home which her presence brightened and which death has now darkened. Though she is gone her record has been made, and will remain with us a lasting treasure for she has gone to her Maker.
The funeral services were held Tuesday, conducted by Rev. W. H.WILLOUGHBY and the loving remains were laid to rest in the Mr. Vernon Cemetery. A large concourse of friends followed to the last resting place.
