KING
Death of Mrs KING
The subject of this sketch, May YOUNG KING,was born in Bowie county, Texas, November 29,1881. She was married to Joe B. KING December 19,1905. Her death occurred at her home in Duncan, Okla., February 11,1912. A devoted husband, a sweet little baby eight days old, a mother and one sister survive her.
Interment in the city cemetery Sunday, Feb.11.
Funeral services by her uncle, REV. W.M. CHENAULT, of Marlow.
Mrs.King was a devoted christian since 16 years old and a loyal and consistent member of the Methodist church. She has gone to her reward and we know where to
find her. May the Lord help us all to br faithful. REV. W. M. CHENAULT.

Etta MORRIS Dies, Saturday Service Set
Waurika (Special) -- Mrs. Etta MORRIS, 84, of Waurika, a resident of Jefferson County since 1908, died Thursday at 10 pm. in a Waurika nursing home following a long illness.
Born Aug. 2, 1886, in Wise County, Tex., she moved to Indian Territory when she was eight, settling at Newport. She married Marion E. MORRIS on Sept 3, 1905 in Newport. In 1908 they moved to a farm north of Waurika. He died in 1951.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Esta LINDESMITH, Iowa Park, Tex., and Mrs. Hazel CHURCHMAN, Aberdeen, Wash.; two sons, Thomas, of Drain, Ore., and Lewis of Buffalo; a sister, Mrs Maggie JONES, Weleetka.
Also surviving are five brothers: Luther WELCH, Ivanhoe, Calif.; C.E. WELCH, Weleetka; Otto WELCH, Comanche; L.C. WELCH, Shawnee; and Haden WELCH of Corum and 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Theo Benson, pastor of the church officiating.
Burial will be in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Worley Funeral Home.

April 12, 1994

LANCASTER
Erna Mae LANCASTER, 83, 2406 Country Club Road No. 3, died Sunday, April 10, 1994, in a Duncan hospital.
Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Duncan Cemetery with the Rev. Rick WHITAKER officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home.
Mrs. LANCASTER, was born June 20, 1910, in Lawton to Thomas Orley and Maggie (PEMBERTON) GEE. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. On Sept. 29, 1928, she married James Leon LANCASTER in Comanche.
Survivors include her husband of the home; 1 brother, and a niece.


BEESON
Ralph BEESON, born Oct. 29, 1921 in Foster to Arthur and Trudy Brown Beeson, died March 29 1999 in Duncan.
He grew up in Foster and attended school at Burris. He married Bert WOODS Oct. 1, 1942 in Duncan.
He was a member of the Midway Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters,  June, Rhonda and Darla; two brothers, Arnold Lee and James; two sisters, Weda and Madge; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife in 1990, a daughter Carolyn Ann Stiles and two sisters, Rena Hill and Verdella Taylor.
Funeral services were in the Midway Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Childers officiating. Burial was in the Foster Cemetery under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home in Elmore City.
