James Harrelson and Melinda Mae Self

Melinda Mae Self and James Harrelson, both of Mckinney, Texas would like to announce their engagement. They will be exchanging vows on March 18, 2006 at the Chapel at Chestnut Square in Mckinney.

The bride -to-be is the daughter of Linda and Nathan Scott of Atoka, Oklahoma and Jolene and Joe Self of Durant, Oklahoma. Mae graduated from Durant High School in 1998 and attended classes at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She is employed by Dr. Donald Nix as a surgical dental assistant in Mckinney.

The Groom-to-be is the son of Denise and John Harrelson , who reside in Mckinney. Jim attended classes at Plano High School and Stephen F. Austin University. He works for Nationwide Insurance as a master claims associate.

The couple plan to make their home in Mckinney.
