Obituary.

Wright At his home in Wellington, October 31st, 1839, Peter S. Wright, aged 71 years.

Mr. Wright may be considered one of the old settlers, having come to Lorain county more than fifty years ago, where he has resided most of the time since. He first settled in Huntington where he married the eldest daughter of Reual Lang and made his home for the next ten years. In 1860 he moved to Oberlin where he lived for the next twelve years. In 1872 he moved to Vermontville, Mich., where he remained till 1884, when he returned to Ohio and settled in Wellington to care for the aged parents of Mrs. Wright. Here he remained until his death, which took place as above stated.

Mr. Wright was a veteran of the civil war and an honored member of the Grand Army Post at Wellington. He was an upright man, a good citizen and a kind neighbor, and in his death the county has lost a good citizen, and his loss will be particularly felt by his neighbors for whom he was constantly performing acts of kindness. He leaves a widow and one daughter, besides a large circle of relatives and friends to mourn his loss.

His funeral took place at his late residence in Wellington Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Sheldon of the Congregational church, and the exercises at the grave were under the direction of the G.A.R. Post of Wellington.
