Resolutions.
Whereas it has pleased the Almighty Ruler of the Universe to remove our beloved comrade, A.E. Sheldon, from our order, Hamlin Post, No. 219, G.A.R., therefore be it resolved:
1. That in his death we have lost one of our truest and most efficient members; always in attendance at the Post meetings, and ever ready with his wise counsel to assist the Post and never failing in the discharge of any duty devolving upon him.
2. That the nation has lost one of its bravest and best defenders and the village and community one of their best citizens.
3. That we extend our heartfelt sympathy to his family in this, their sad bereavement; fully realizing the fact they have lost an affectionate husband, a kidn and indulgent father.
4. That these resolutions be published in the Enterprise, and that a copy by sent to the family of the deceased; Also that a copy be spread upon the records of the Post.
5. Committee: J.W. Wilbur, Jos. Binehower, A.B. Hayes.
