Grantham Grundy died Sunday morning at the state hospital in Massillon. The body was brought Monday to the home of his son Fred. Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. in the M E. church.

Obituary.
Grantham Grundy was born in Sutterly Lincolnshire England, June 5, 1829, and died Dec. 11, 1910, at the age of 81 years, 5 months and 18 days. He left England when he was about 22 years of age, and lived one year in Canada. He worked one year at Berea, O., then worked at the blacksmith�s trade at North Amherst, and worked at his trade for a number of years. From there he enlisted as a private and corporal in Co. C, 176 regiment O.V.I. and served fifteen months.

Two years after he came from the army, he moved to Brighton and has lived here ever since. He was married in 1852 to Eliza Kettlewell of Lincolnshire, England. To this union were born nine children, eight of whom survived him. He lived an honest, upright life and for a number of years was a member of the Methodist church at Brighton.
