Death of O.F. Carpenter.
After a long and painful illness, Comrade O.F. Carpenter of this village, died at his home on Wednesday, Jan. 16th, 1907. He was a veteran of the Civil war, and had lived in Missouri some years before coming to Wellington. At the time of his demise he was 65 years of age. The funeral was held at the house on Friday at 1 o-clock p.m. The family has the sympathy of the public in their sorrow.
