George Lewis Barden.
George Lewis Barden was born in Collins county, New York, May 8th, 1833. He moved to Spencer, Medina county, Ohio, at the age of ten years, was married to Charlotte Young, March 2, 1855, who died in August 1897. He died February 1, 1987 at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. F.S. Powers of Cleveland. Five children, two sons and three daughters remain to mourn their loss. Funeral services were held here on Sunday last at the home of Wm. Young under the auspices of the Masonic order. The deceased was a veteran of the Civil war, and was for a number of years a member of Hamlin Post, this city.
