"My grandfather, Harry R Taylor, son of Joshua
V Taylor, also served in the military, WWI, the signal
corps in France.
I don't think he enlisted from Warren County ... probably from
Erlanger, where his family moved as his father, Joshua
V Taylor was the mail clerk on the Queen City/Crescent Southern
RR that ran between Cinti & cities south into TN, where they
eventually moved. Both Joshua V and Harry R are buried at the Chatanooga
National Cemetery."
"he grew up in Middleboro, primarily. Very close to his Skinner,
Clark, Taylor, Kiphart relatives there.Often, when he would come
to visit us in Cincinnati we would all pile in the car and go up
to Middleboro to visit Ollie Taylor and Albert and Alfred Clark.
I remember those trips well. He was quite a guy! An electrician
by trade."
