She attended National Normal University in Lebanon. In 1918 she married Karl Dakin, who was the founder of Dakin Insurance Agency in Lebanon. . . ."
DAVIS Surname Index	photo needed	Judge David Davis (____ - 1933) The following was extracted from the obituary in the 30 March 1933 Western Star held by the Warren County Genealogical Society "Judge David Davis, former Hamilton county common pleas judge, attended school at Lebanon 60 years ago and following his graduation from the National Normal University was admitted to the Ohio bar in 1876. In 1930 when graduates of the National Normal University celebrated the 75th anniversary of the founding of that once prosperous institution, Judge Davis served as president of the alumni association and chairman of the reunion committee."

'68; Baptist Minister" 16 Dec 2020 Roger L. Gansauer email: "I am researching my maternal grandmother's family and am seeking information on William N. DeBolt from Carroll County, Indiana. In a narrative that his daughter (my great-grandmother) wrote she said that he graduated from the Normal School. This most likely would have been in the mid-1860's since in 1868 he went to Shurtleff College in Upper Alton, Illinois where he graduated in 1871. He was a Baptist minister so I believe he went to Shurtleff for his divinity degree."
