	photo needed	David Allen (1837 - 1907) following extracted from obituary in the 14 November 1907 Western Star held by the Warren County Genealogical Society" "Mr. Allen was a native of eastern Ohio and attended the Normal School at Lebanon before it was called a University. He studied law and was admitted to the bar at Cadiz, Ohio, in 1863. He commenced the practice of law at Lebanon, having first a desk in the office of George R. Sage, and for a while he assisted Mr. Sage in editing The Western Star. In 1886 he succeeded Mr. Sage as prosecuting attorney of Warren county, an office he held for several terms."

Arnold was born in Valley Station, Jefferson County, Kentucky 23 Sep 1873. He received his literary training in the National Normal University at Lebanon, Ohio, graduating in 1899 with B.S. & B.E. degrees. In 1903,he graduated from the Illinois School of Medicine at Chicago and began practicing medicine in Shideler, Indiana.
