OBITUARIES. ROBINSON - Mrs. Lucinda Guttery Robinson, daughter of William and Mary Guttery, was born in this County, March 25, 1815, and died at the family residence in Roachester, on the evening of Friday, August 12, 1861. She was united in marriage with James A. Robinson, Esq., April 23, 1840, and, after residing in Kokomo, Indiana, Defiance and Plattsville, Ohio, returned to Roachester, where she spent the remaining years of her life. For many years she was severely afflicted, and was seldom free from pain, but no murmurs ever escaped her lips. As death approached, she said to her daughter Lauretta, in response to a question, "I have constant peace, but no ecstasy;" and to her son, the Rev. Wm. A. Robinson, formerly of the Cincinnati Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, who was unable to be present during her last hours, she sent this message: "Tell him I feel that Jesus supports me in a dying hour." The funeral services were held at the residence on Sunday, August 14, and the remains were interred in the village cemetery.
