Miss Eliza Mariah Jameson, age ninety-five years, oldest member of the Shakers passed away, Wednesday morning, May 19 at 5:30 o’clock. The deceased was born in Warren, Ohio, May 25, 1825 and joined the Shakers in Waterbliet [sic], Ohio in 1872. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock. Interment will be made on the Shaker lot, Lebanon cemetery.
