New Authority at Union Village. -The recent death of David Parkhurst, one of the trustees at Union Village, has led to the formation of a board of trustees for the management of the affairs of the society at that place, in which but one of the old members, Peter Boyd, is retained. The new members are Oliver Hampton, the school teacher and preacher, Emily Hamilton and Emily Robinson. It was a remark of the late Judge W. W. Wilson that Peter Boyd was one of the most sensible and evenly balanced men he ever knew. |
