Holbrook – Thompson Prof. Alfred Holbrook, president of the university, and Miss Eason Thompson were married at the bride’s home at Hot Springs, Ark., on Wednesday morning of last week. The Episcopal ceremony was used and only a few guests were present. The bride and groom arrived in Lebanon last Friday evening. President Holbrook has been prominent in educational affairs in the United States for many years, and his wife is one of the leading instructors of the south. She has been principal of the schools at Hot Springs for some time, and was before her marriage president of the state teachers’ association of Arkansas. |
