FOUR
SCORE AND TEN.
Ninetieth Birthday of Mrs. Ann Haines, a Most Estimable Old Lady of Waynesville. Last Thursday was the ninetieth birthday of Mrs. Ann Haines, of Waynesville, and it was remembered by her many friends with the kindest of wishes for her health and happiness. Mrs. Haines has a most beautiful little home on Fourth street, in that town, and has lived in there almost all of her life. Mrs. Haines' niece and grand niece, Mrs. Rafund and her daughter, Miss Emma, have lived with her for many years, but as
Mrs. Haines is enjoying
very perfect health, she needs no one to care for her. She is a talented
woman and writes very beautifully. She has one son, Joseph
Haines, who lives about a mile out of the town, and a niece Mrs.
Josiah Holbrook, of Lebanon, of whom she is especially fond.
Mrs. Holbrook and her family usually join in the celebration
of this event by making Mrs.
Haines a visit upon her birthday. May she celebrate many returns or
her natal day is the wish of all who know her. |
