Vera M. Fye & James
W. Ingersoll
Sunday evening at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Foster
Fye, four miles southwest of Waynetown, occurred the marriage of their
daughter, Vera M. Fye, to Mr. James W. Ingersoll The home was decorated
with ferns, carnations, and sweet peas and promptly at 6 o'clock the contracting
parties, unattended, entered the parlor, preceded by Rev. Randall Lookabill,
where the ceremony was performed in a beautifully impressive manner. At
the conclusion of the ceremony the bridal couple led the assembled company
to the dining room where a wedding supper was served. After which congratulations
were offered. The newly married couple were the recipients of many beautiful
and useful presents. They are among the most popular young people of the
western part of the county and have the best wises of a large circle of
friends and acquaintances for a prosperous and happy journey through life.
Only the immediate relatives and a few intimate friends attended the ceremony.
For the present the newly married couple will make their home with the
parents of the bride.
