In the name of the Benevolent Father of all I Wesley Warwick of Warren County Ohio, do make and publish, this my last will and testament.
Item 1st It is my will that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid.
2nd I give and devise to my beloved wife in lieu of dower the House and lots on which we now reside situated in the Corporation of Lebanon Warren County Ohio. (a part of which was purchased by me of E. J. Lichener and a part of the Adm of Isaac Stubbs ) and all the Household goods furniture and other goods and chattels that may be there at the time of my decease. The whole of the above named property including the real estate aforesaid I give and devise to her and her heirs forever.
3rd All the residue of my Estate to remain in the hands of my Executrix and all the Interest or income derived there from I give and bequeath to my wife to be used by her for her support during her natural life, and if said income or interest should not be sufficient for her comfortable support then she may use any portion of my Estate that may be necessary for her support as aforesaid X all the Real Estate that I may own at the time of my decease Except the homestead herein devise it to my wife & her heirs. It is my will that the same be sold by my Executrix within a reasonable time after my decease and the proceeds divided from the Sale thereof to be loaned or invested by her as she may think best. She to receive the interest or income there of during her natural life aforesaid. At the death of my said wife all of my Estate both real and personal remaining in her hands as Executrix of my Estate I give and devise and bequeath as follows to wit;
1st To Joseph W. Hisey now living in Wayne Township Warren County Ohio or his legal representatives I give and bequeth the sum of One Hundred dollars. and he is requested to care for my lot and monument in the Cemetery near Corwin Ohio and have the proper inscription made thereon after my decease.
2nd To William D. Sheely, (Brother of my wife) or his legal representatives I give and bequeath the sum of three Hundred dollars.
3rd To my nephew, Wesley Warwick (Son of George Warwick) or his legal representatives, I give and bequeth the sum of one Hundred Dollars.
4th All the residue of my Estate I give devise & bequeath to my niece Mahala Alice Warwick, (daughter of Samuel Warwick) and Mrs. Nettie Barton formerly Nettie Manson or their legal Representatives to be divided Equally between them Each Sharing alike.
5th I do hereby nominate and appoint, my wife Mahala Warwick Executrix of my last will and testament, hereby authorizing and Empowering her here to Compromise, adjust, release and discharge, in such manor as she deems proper, the debts and claims due me. I do also authorize and empower her to sell Either at public or private sale or in such manor, upon such terms of Credit, or otherwise as she may think proper the real Estate herein requested by me to be sold and deed to purchasers to Executrix, acknowledge and deliver in fee simple, and it is my will that the Court Require no security on the bond given by her for the discharge of her duties as such Executrix X
I do hereby revoke all former wills by me made In Testimony hereof, I have hereto Set my hand & Seal this 9th day of June A D 1881

M. J. Hutchinson being duly sworn, says that Wesley Warwick, a resident of the Township of Turtlecreek in said County, died on or about the 3rd day of January A.D. 1887, and that there is, to the knowledge of this affiant, a last will and testament of said decedent; that the said Wesley Warwick died, leaving the following persons his only heors at law:
