"William Kind---Born August 14, 1845---Died March 14, 1905---Son of William Kind & Alice Robinett---In 1852 William Sr. and his 3 children, Robert, William, & Isabella, immigrated from Petersborough, England to the United States. In the 1860 Census they can be found in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio and William Sr. is listed as being a Tailor. September 4, 1862, at the age of 17 William enlisted to serve in the Civil War. He was Honorably discharged October 6, 1865. William and his brother, Robert, both filed for their citizenship October 8, 1866 in Warren County. In 1867 William Sr. married Ann Hall in Warren County. In the 1870 Census the whole family can be found in Salem Township, Warren County, Ohio. Robert was the only one to marry, he married Ella Snyder in 1894. There were no children born to any of these family members. Isabella is buried in Morrow Cemetery."
