- Starting in 2006, William
L. Hatfield has researched the burials in the cemetery for the
Warren County Genealogical Society, photographing each stone and
recording tombstone transcriptions, and other records into a single
database. His efforts will be incorporated into a future edition
of Warren County, Ohio cemetery records by the Warren County Genealogical
Society.

The WPA listed 23 veterans on their plat map as shown in the table. We
were not able to find information to confirm service of five of them.
We do not know of a Joseph L. Hathaway buried here.
We have identified at least 57 other veterans buried at Bethany Cemetery
including 3 from the War of 1812, 6 from the Civil War, 2 from the Spanish
American War, 11 World War I vets, 32 World War II vets, 2 Korean War
vets, 1 Vietnam War vet and 1 casualty from the Middle East Conflicts.
