Most of the Cemeteries have been recorded by the Summit County Chapter of the OGS, by Ester Powell, or by The Hudson Genalogical Study Group, Not all are availble at this time. I will add contact information as I find it, so check back often.

  1. Richfield Township

    • Dewey
      Located on Columbia Road, East of Dwey Road in East Richfield
    • East Richfield
      Located on the West Side of Clevland-Massillon Road North of State Road 202
    • Everett
      Located on Columbia Road off Riverview Road near North boarder of Township
    • Hart
      Located on Hart Road off Cleveland-Massillon Road, cemetery destroyed
    • Hershey
      Located West of Everett on Everett Road Near Revere Road.
    • Osborn Corners
      Located on Everett Road at Osborn Corners, near County line.
    • West Richfield
      Located on State Road 176, just North of State Road 303 & West Richfield.
    • Wheatley
      On Wheatley Road just east of I-77/US21.
  2. Springfield Township

    • Edwin Shaw Sanitarium
      Located on Sanitarium Road, East of South Boarder of Lakemore
    • Greenwood -Maogadore
      Located on the Norht edge of Mogador, off Gilchrist Road
      Contact: Village of Mogadore, Oh; 3809 Mogadore Rd; 330-628-5862
    • Hillside Memorial
      Located East of State Road 8, North of Lakemore.
      Has a 13 1/2 foot sculpture of the Last Supper in solid Carrara marble.
    • Keiser
      Located between State Road 8 and Portage County Line Road & Tilsen Road.
    • Maple Hill
      Located South of Mogadore on Albrecht Aveanue, near Portage Line Road.
    • Memorial Park
      Located South east of Ellet on Albrecht Aveanue, off State Road 8.
    • Memory Lane
      Located in back of the Ellet Shopping Center, near the junction of State Road 8 and County Road 44

    • Milheim
      Located South of Lakemore at Myersville Rd. and Killian Rd.
    • St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox
      Located near the Slovic Evangelical Cemetery.
    • Slovak Evangelical Cemetery
      Located Southeast of Krumroy and County road 130 on Massillon Road.
    • Springfiled Presbyterian
      Located neaar Ellett at State Road 8 and Albrecht Ave.
    • Weston
      Located on Seiberling Street, just west of Massillon Rd. off County Road 44.
  3. Stow Township

    • Darrowville Maple Lawn
      Located on State Road 91 south of Darroville.
    • Paridise Park
      Located on State Road 91, just west of Stow Corners, near State Road 5.
  4. Tallmadge Township

    • Bettes Cemetery
      Located on State Road 18 & Home Ave., just east of the Rail Road.
      Nathaniel Bettes Revolutionary War Hero, is buried here.
      He founded Bettes Corners in 1810. He lived another 30 years there until he died in 1840 at the age of 93.
      Akron's first and only city-owned cemetery.
    • County Home, New
      Located off state Road 91 east of County Home.
    • County Home, Old
      Located off State Road 91 at County Home.
    • East Akron
      Located on East Market Street In Akron, oppasite the Goodyear Plant.
    • Middlesbury -Newton
      Located on Newton Street off East Market Street near East Akron Cemetry.
    • Tallmage, New
      Located on State Road 91 south of Tallmadge Circle, south of old Tallmadge Cemetery.
    • Tallmage, Old
      Located on State Road 91 south of Tallmadge Circle and North of the New Tallmagde Cemtery.
  5. Twinsburg Township

    • Crown Hill Cemetery
      Located on State Road 91, South of Twinsburg, North of County Road 111

    • Locust Grove Cemetery
      Location:
      Additional information: the original twins Moses and Aaron Wilcox gave Twinsburg its name and its public square. Moses and Aaron Wilcox were twins and married sisters, held their property in common, were identical, were taken ill of the same disease, died within a day of each other, and are buried in the same grave in Locust Grove Cemetery. The twins came from Connecticut in 1823; they died in 1827.
