Hello,

I am looking for information about Perry E. WELLS who was born in Clyde, Ohio 23 April 1869 and his father Henry Wells. We believe Henry's wife's name was Siner HINKLEY. Perry moved to the Napoleon, Ohio area in the late 1800's but we have no record of Henry's residence. He may have remained in Clyde. I am interested in learning all that I can about any member of the Wells family, including cousins, aunts, uncles, etc.

Thank you

George Wells - Sylvania, Ohio

Surnames: REED, WALTERS
Researcher: Missy Mowry
Email: [email protected]
Date posted: Wednesday, April 14, 1999

I am looking for parents and siblings of My 3rd Great Grandparents, Gabriel and Mary (REED) WALTERS. Gabriel was born March 20, 1813 and died July 18, 1876. Mary"Polly" Reed was born June 12, 1812 and died May 11, 1902. They are both buried in Lindsey Cemetary, Lindsey,Washington Twp. Sandusky Co. Ohio, which is where they resided. According to the 1850 Washington Twp. census, they were both born in PA. and their children were all born in Ohio.
They had 5 children that I am aware of:
1. Samuel R. Walters b. abt. 1833
2. Joseph M. Walters b. abt. 1835
3. Emanuel Walters b. January 24, 1836
4. Julia A. Walters b. abt 1839
5. Joshua Ralph Walters b. January 5, 1844
Emanual was not listed on the 1850 census, with his family, and Joshuas (my GGGrandfather) age was inncorreect on the same census, so I dont know how reliable the dates are for the other 3 children, or if they had anymore. I got Gabriel, Mary and Joshuas dates for their headstones, Emanuels birth date from Hardestrys Historical Encylopedia, and the remaining children from 1850 census.
Anyone researching this line?
thanks,
Missy
