Hi, I have been tracing a family member that has lead me to Belleveue, Ohio. The only things I have is a birthday book with family members that match the name and where they were born which is Belleveue, Ohio. I started on your birth, death and everything in between but when I came to Anderson it wasn't recorded. The main person is E. Louise PENNELL ANDERSON who was born in Honeoye, NY, Ontario County in 1/28/1836. I feel she must have married an Anderson and possibly started their family in Belevue. Here are the names I have: Charles Emery Anderson 4/13/1868, Minnie L. Anderson Clark 5/26/1860, John Anderson CLARK 10/19/1879, Mary Louise Clark 10/21/1881, Annie Bessie Clark 5/16/1884. My main person is Pennell. I have a Martha Pennell that was born in 1806 and Ohio was in the death date. I am not sure what County I should be looking in. Can you please help me?

Dear Subscribers
According to Illinois census information, my gg grandfather was born in Ohio in 1819. I have a marriage CD that shows several Pettibone's that got married in Sandusky County in that era. Chauncey married Sarah Staton in 1839 in Sangamon, Illinois. I don't know when he went to Illinois. Any help on this line would be appreciated. I have my direct information on Chauncey's descendants I'd be happy to share, and a list of his children from his estate papers. I've been able to find a few of his children, but not many. He and Sarah had quite a crew! Thank you in advance for your help! Deanna Hill-Staley email - [email protected]

If any of these names sound familiar, let me know. I have dates back to mid 1800s and some earlier. Most of the history I have is in Sandusky CO, Fremont area. Family tradition states that these families were very early settlers to Fremont in the early years.

Hello List,
I just joined the list because I discovered a relative from Sandusky County OH. Her name was Mary Jane GROSS from Black Swamp, Sanusky County, OH. Mary Jane GROSS was born 26 June 1837 in that location per the husband's family bible.
Another source mentioned her father as Phillip GROSS. She married William MILLER from Monroeville, Erie County, OH in May 1862.
Does that location ring a bell for anyone ? I would appreciate any information about the town or the GROSS family. Thank you.
