Ebenezer EGGLESTON moved from Orleans Co., NY, to Sandusky Co., OH, about 1833. The families of Alvin KNAPP and Chester KNAPP moved also. How are they related? I believe Ebenezer's first wife was a Knapp. Chester Knapp's son, Kingsley Knapp, said he was a cousin to Ebenezer's son, Joseph Eggleston. In 1836, Ebenezer married his second wife, Sally/Electa Phileo of Sandusky Co. He was deceased by 1849 when she remarried. I need help identifying Ebenezer's parents and establishing their Knapp connection.

I am looking for information on the GRIVEL and DUBELL families. Both families supposedly worked at a lumber camp owned by Lewis Butler, near Vanburen, Ohio. George Grivel was born in France about 1827, and came to the U.S. at about age 5, with his parents and siblings. He had brothers John and Cephius and sister Eve. Eve is buried near Vanburen, I believe. George married Lydia Ann Dubell. Her parents, William Roger and Rachel Grant Dubell worked as cooks at the lumber camp. Later, the Grivels and Dubells moved to Rollersville in Sandusky Co., Ohio, and after George returned from fighting in the Civil War (169th volunteer Infantry) both families moved to Cedar Co., Iowa. I am looking for information on George GRIVEL's parents, George and Lydia's marriage date, and the parents of William Roger DUBELL and Rachel GRANT Dubell (William and Rachel were born in NJ). Thanks for your help.
