Looking for information on Charles WEICHOLD who married Lucinda SHOOP 19 July 1866 in Crawford Co., OH. Lucinda may have been the daughter of Michael F. and Susana (MILLER) SHUPP. Charles may have been the son of Peter & Catherine (KUHLMANN) Weichel. The 1880 Census shows a Charles in Towsend Twp., Sandusky Co., OH with wife Elizabeth and two children ages 2 and 8. The children were listed in that order. Did Lucinda die and then Charles married Elizabeth? Did they leave Ohio altogether? According to some Crawford Co. books many of the SHUPPs moved to Nebraska. If anyone has information on this couple please let me know. I am working on identifying all descendants of Peter & Catherine WEICHEL. Please send replys by snail mail to Lauren K. Landis, 1950 Market Ave. N., Apt. C-6, Canton, OH 44714 or call (330) 456-2309. My E-mail will be changing soon. Thank you.
