MARIE NEAL

Marie Neal, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Neal, died at the home of her parents, 266 Vine St, after a brief illness from typhoid-pneumonia. The little girl made a heroic effort against the ravages of the disease and all that living hands and tender hearts could do was done, but it proved of no avail and death alone relieved her suffering. The deceased was a bright cheerful girl of sweet disposition, which made those who knew her love her. Her death comes as a staggering blow to the fond mother and father to whom the sympathy of many friends is extended. The deceased was fifteen years old. [NB: Marie is buried in Grandview Cemetery.]
