The reunion of the Stevick family was held at the home of Samuel Stevick, one mile north of Lucas, Saturday, Oct. 15.  The family was all present except two, Mrs. Hall, of Michigan, and H.F. Stevick, of Youngstown.  There were present Christian Stevick, wife and two daughters, Miss Allie and Mrs. William Martin, Ezra Bell and wife, J.M. Ervin and wife, John Stevick and wife, of Mansfield, Jacob Stevick, wife, daughter, Ella, and sons, Guy and Leslie, D.B. Leiter, wife and two sons, Arthur and Collings, William Baer, wife and son, David, Samuel Stevick, wife and daughter, Satie, and Mr. Zediker, wife and baby, of Lucas.  The day was passed in games of ball and pitching quoits, singing and hunting rabbits.  There was a splendid spread of good things to eat, the day was beautiful and all enjoyed themselves greatly.  As the day drew to a close the company separated after singing the parting song, "God be With You Till We Meet Again".  The Stevick family is one of ten children, six sons and four daughters.  There was never a death in the family until the father passed away in his 83d. year.  He was a man blessed with good health until called away.  One year after the death of the father, the mother passed away in her 80th. year.  The children are all living and hope to all meet for many reunions in years to come.
