Mathias Ziway b.15 Nov 1876 in Austria-Hungary. His parents are Mathias Ziway and Joanna Schamer.  Mathias emigrated to the US in 1904 as did his wife, Barbara Metzger.  She was from the town of Sartscha in what was then Austria-Hungary.  She is related to me.

Mathias and Barbara had three children: Mary, Michael M., and Leopold.  I found them in the 1910 census but the name is spelled CIWAY.  They are living at East 5th St., Mansfield, 3rd Ward, Richland Co.  In the 1920 Census their name is correctly spelled as Ziway.  They are living at N. Willis Avenue, Mansfield City. 

Mathias died 05 Jan 1946.  He is buried in Mansfield Memorial Park, 1507 Park Ave. West.  Barbara died 7 April 1952.

Their daughter Mary wed Nick Foley on 25 Feb. 1926 in Richland Co.  His parents are John Foley and Mary Ircod.
