The Mansfield-Richland County Normal School was established in the city of Mansfield, Ohio, September 10, 1922, in the Carpenter school building on West First Street.  The entrance conditions are graduation from a first grade high school.  The length of the course is 36 weeks.  One week is devoted to extension work given by the Ohio State University College of Agriculture.
