The last will of Maria S. Lafferty of Bellville who died March 24, has been filed for probate.

She bequeaths to her brother Alexander A. Patterson the lot and the house in which she resided on Huron Street in Bellville.  It is her desire that her nephew Frank Patterson and none of her nephews have any share of her estate. 

At the death of her brother Alexander A. Patterson, she desires him to give what is left of his property to her sister Sarah J. Wright or if she be dead she desires to have it divided equally among her nieces. 

It is her desire that her brother, Alexander A. Patterson have all the household furniture except her best bedstead, springs, bureau and feather-bed which are bequeathed to her sister Sarah J. Wright.

She nominates her brother Alexander A. Patterson as executor.

The will was dated Jan. 22, 1908 and was witnessed by Ella N. Phillips and Rosa B. Worner.
