Last Will of John C. Fish

The last will of John C. Fish of Shelby, who died April 16, has been filed for probate.

He bequeaths to his wife Anna R. Fish in lieu of her dower interest, all the goods, chattels, stocks or interest in stocks, rights, credits, moneys and effects belonging to him at the time of his death, as well as his real estate of every description. 

It is his desire that his wife be his executrix and have full power to settle all claims against him of every mature as she may deem just and proper.  She is authorized to sell at private sale or as she may desire all or any part of the property of any nature. 

The deceased desired that there be no appraisement except such as may be made necessary by law and that no bond be required from her. 

He requests that his wife shall as her judgment direct, assist his mother, Helen C. Fish, and other of his blood relations, to the extent her means may make it possible but all is left unconditionally to his wife.

The will is dated March 5, 1909, and it witnessed by J.G. Van Horn and W.H. Myers.
