Sunday.  Ira McCoy last night placed in the vault of the Mansfield Savings Bank at badge given to his father while Chief Engineer by Hope Hose Co., No. 1, on May 30th., 1868.  The badge, which is of solid gold and which cost $75, was designed by Homer Lee, now of New York.  The relic now belongs to Mr. McCoy, who prizes it highly.
