DIED -- At Ft. Wayne, Ind., Jan. 6, 1883, Laura McKee Gibson, aged 18 years, 10 months and 15 days.

Laura was the youngest daughter of Mrs. Mary McKee.  Her sudden and untimely death has brought deep sorrow and mourning to the bereaved husband and mother, brothers and sisters, and a gloom of sadness over the entire community. 

On May 27th., 1882, she was married to Mr. John Gibson, and left her pleasant home and many warm friends to form new friendships in her future home at Fort Wayne, Ind.  She was only allowed to enjoy her new home a few short months.

The sorrowing husband brought the loved ones remains to Mansfield for interment.  The funeral was largely attended and much sympathy was expressed for the bereaved friends in the loss of one who seems to have gained by her gentle and amiable disposition the love and esteem of her many associates.
